This brings massive performance improvements over the old version. Load times on even the largest, most demanding levels are much, much faster, and gameplay overall is smoother. What the porting guys have accomplished is nothing short of a miracle, given the strict patch file size requirements from Nintendo, not to mention the challenge of working with a project built by a gamedev noob like myself. I knew bringing a physics-intensive game like this to the Switch would be a challenge, but I don’t think any one anticipated it being this difficult. Nevertheless, they accomplished the impossible and it’s here at last.
